The project works comprised reconstruction, realignment and widening of the GNH, including:

• » Construction of two passing lanes
• » Resurfacing of Spring Creek Bridge
• » Resurfacing Spring Creek Bridge.

Swan Stabilizers was the subcontractor for all subgrade, sub-base and basecourse placement, mixing, compacting and trimming. We provided project supervision, roller and loader operators, and wet plant hire. Plant used included grader, road train side tippers, 8 wheel tippers, stabilisers, bobcat and a low loader. The workforce comprised 25% Aboriginal participation of the project duration. Swan Traffic Management, our partner company, employed over 10 traffic controllers on the project. Of this, 8 resided locally with 85% being Aboriginal employees. Our successful relationship with WBHO and Main Roads on Stage 1 has led to additional subcontract works on Stage 2.
